Dissapearing Loop Eyelet Cast On

This cast on, (any eyelet cast on) is a bit persnickity.. but with a little practice, not all that hard.

(I manage to do it almost sight unseen because the camera gets in the way of my view!--and while I have a few problems--it is still not that hard to do. And my problems are the sort you are likely to have--and you get to see how I deal with them, and resolve them.)

Eyelet cast ons--this one and Emily Ocker are beautiful ways to start an knit in the round project.

  1. I wonder if this could work with Magic Loop method? I'm thinking the cast-on does better on the dps because they hold the shape? This would be terrific for Jared Flood's Girasole or Hemlock Ring Blanket - or any circular piece, of course!
